The 34th EUROMICRO Conference on Software Engineering and Advanced Applications (SEAA) is bringing together people from business, industry, research, and academia who are working in software engineering and information technology with its various aspects. Over the years, EUROMICRO SEAA conferences have reflected and represented the continuous changes in technology and application areas. The aim of the conference is to proceed with this, focusing on software engineering and new, innovative and advanced software applications.

Conference Tracks

Relevant topics at EUROMICRO SEAA 2008 are represented by the three main conference tracks:

Component-Based Software Engineering (CBSE)

Multimedia and Telecommunications (MMTC)

Software Process and Product Improvement (SPPI)

Special Sessions

The conference also includes special sessions that reflect particular research and development topics in areas related to the tracks or in new emerging areas. EUROMICRO SEAA 2008 includes the following special sessions:

Quality and Service-Oriented Applications

Software Architectures for Pervasive Systems

Distributed Embedded Software Systems

Software Management

Reviewing and Publication

Both regular papers and short contributions will be reviewed by the international Program Committee and accepted on their scientific merit and relevance to the topics of the individual tracks. Accepted regular papers will be included in the proceedings that will be published by the IEEE/CS. Extended versions of selected papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Journal of Systems Architecture (Elsevier). Work in progress contributions will be made available to the participants in bound form. Please visit the conference or tracks web pages for further information.
